CJC-1295 is a synthetic analog of Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone (GHRH), the endogenous peptide responsible for stimulating the pituitary gland to release growth hormone. Research protocols that aim to study GH axis dynamics under conditions closer to normal physiology typically use the No DAC version.
Ipamorelin is a selective ghrelin receptor agonist (GHS-R1a) that stimulates GH release through a pathway independent of GHRH. When combined with CJC-1295 No DAC, the two peptides act on complementary receptor systems simultaneously — GHRH receptor and ghrelin receptor — producing a more robust and synergistic GH pulse than either compound alone in animal models.
